The Theory of Relativity as the “Holy Scripture” is like a televangelistic sales pitch. Of course building on Einstein's work, a humble Belgian priest Le Maitre (another gifted amateur) proposed a theory now well established regarding an expanding universe. I well remember a revered More recently, over on the Swiss border, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) produced some unexpected results when Neutrinos were observed to be apparently travelling faster than light – something Special Relativity states is impossible. Anyone who has studied much Physics (like me), will tell you that Special Relativity was mostly created by Poincare and Lorentz. €�Einstein is a false prophet. And then, in June, Einstein completed special relativity - which added a twist to the story: Einstein's March paper treated light as particles, but special relativity sees light as a continuous field of waves. And they unify, no doubt about it: in the math, at least, all of nature from quantum mechanics to gravity emerges from the equations of string theory. Relativity is no more than a philosophical standpoint, a virus to infect a “New Age”. Nikola Tesla regarded Relativity as the greatest historical aberration of scientific thought. Such a contradiction took a supremely confident mind to propose.
